Hi all it’s a simple question really has anyone ever invested in a pair of Fuel sergeant trousers and are they any good?
I like the look of them and they’ll go well with my Scrambler 900 but the price is a bit steep at £279, so I’m just trying to find out any more info I can.
    Thanks[IMG]

Can't help you with a review but there's plenty on Utube. I also like the look of them so might try and find a local stockist. Personally I think £279 isn't bad for a good pair of riding trousers provided they really are good of course.

I've got the black pair and really like them. They're reasonably warm and with ghost armour you don't notice it at all. You can also take the knee armour out while wearing them as the pocket is on the outside of the trousers. I've done a good amount of miles in them and they are wearing well so quality is good (as you would hope). Fit is a little small so you may need to size up.

Like the OP, I also think they will suit the style and character of the Scrambler. I ride mine in some heavy duty workwear trousers with armour in the outside knee pockets and some armoured under shorts. The leathers I ride the ZZR in just don't "feel" right on the Scrambler and I'm certainly NOT wearing my red & white leather racing onesy from the '90's!! In fact, I'll be surprised if I can still get in it!

I bought a black pair pretty soon after they first came out, so mine are the kevlar lined version, since superseded by the single layer version. They are my go-to trousers when I ride, and that's regardless of whether it's the Bonneville or one of my Jap sports bikes. So I've owned them for around 6 (maybe 7?) years and have covered several thousand miles. I wore them for 8 days in 2020 on the 2000 mile Malle Rally and this August for a 1500 mile, 5 day tour of Normandy. They show no obvious signs of wear, other than a little fading around the knee area.

They are extremely comfortable and don't get sweaty (like some textile pants) but of course they're not waterproof. If I'm travelling long distance, with the possibility of getting wet, I take my Scott waterproofs (and they are). I took the armour out several years ago and never put it back.
I'm 32" waist but bought 34" because Motolegends and others said they size small, and they're perfect. They look great and I wouldn't hesitate to buy another pair.

Incidentally, they have areas of suede, including on the inner thigh, supposedly for better grip but I suspect it's a fashion thing. This means they can't be washed..and mine never have!!

Can't find a stockist anywhere near me so looks like these are out. I might look at some Alpine Stars trousers as I'm dead chuffed with my jacket.

Why do you need a stockist near you? Both Motolegends and Urban Rider offer free returns. You order a couple of sizes and send one (or both) back. That's what they expect you to do. I've done it many times.
The returns label is included in the with the order, so you stick the unwanted gear back in the box, tape it up and hand it over at the post office (or wherever your DPD pick-up place is).
    Easy peasy and very convenient.

PS. I've checked and they will even deliver to Yorkshire!
