It is with great sadness that I have to post that Andy has lost his two year battle with cancer. He has passed away this week without any pain.

He will be sadly missed by many. As soon as I have funeral details I will post them if any of you want to attend.

    RIP Andy❤️

I did, I went to see him last week before I came on holiday. It was very emotional for me as I knew that it would be my last time with him.
He was a good mate who I shared many good biking trips with. I will miss him loads.

PS: I remember that day really well at Monyash.

Very sad news indeed but thanks for posting Steve.

I know Andy was a close friend of yours and you enjoyed many rideouts/trips here in the UK and abroad. It's good that you went to see him for one last time before his passing.

I first met Andy about a week before the very first forum GMU in 2016? and then at all the subsequent GMUs, the forum trip to Germany and the Wales trip.

I always found Andy a straight forward, good and generous guy who at the forum GMUs would forego a rideout to prepare a meal, along with Sprinter for the lads/girls that evening.

RIP Andy it was good knowing you.

Thanks for your message Dave. I was going to give you a call as I wasn’t sure if you still looked in on the forum.
Yes Andy and James certainly looked after us all in the bunkhouse food department. And it was excellent food always.
I will miss his dry sense of humour and his company on rides.
How are you doing these days?

Hi all, I have spoken to Andy’s wife Sue today and she is still waiting on a date for the funeral.
I asked if it would be ok to ask his friends from the forum to attend the funeral and she said she would be delighted to see us there.

Obviously she wants to understand the numbers, so if you do want/will attend can you please let me know.

I did ask if there are enough of us who will attend if we could follow Andy to the service or from the venue to the wake on our bikes. She is more than happy for us to do this.

I will be attending and depending on the time of the service I will either stay over the night before if it is an early one or if it is in the afternoon travel on the day and stay over after the service. Can you call me (pm if you need my number) so I can let Sue know.

Thank you for letting us know of Andypandy's passing, @Wessa. I'm so sorry for the loss of your good friend. I'm glad you were able to see him. While I never had the opportunity to meet him in person, I enjoyed his postings and participation on the forum and have thought of him as a "forum friend". My condolences to Sue and to Andy's family and biker friends, including you. RIP, Andy.
