Hello all. Former Harley owner here in the states.
I'm considering purchasing a clean used Bonneville.
Hoping to get advise on what to look for and years to possible avoid.
    T 100 or T120?
I may eventually do some longer roads trips off the interstate.
At 61 now, the size and weight of the Bonneville I like.
    Thank you for your time!
    Frank F.

Thanks. I've heard reports of transmission trouble with the T 100 and T 120. Water cooled bikes. Has this been resolved?

@Frank F Welcome to the family. Again i would probably say the 1200 / T120 its got better touring and that little bit more speed. Yes i do believe Triumph sorted any problems and it was only a small batch that got affected by a inferior metal plate. Keep us all in the know and a picture if you do proceed. I think you will be very impressed.
