TopCashback triumphs again. Had an email from GoCompare reminding me that the insurance on the Duke is due for renewal on 1st July. So I played the game and went through the quote process. Cheapest was Swinton at £85.71. That’s fully comp, no voluntary excess, no protected NCB, 2000 miles, clean licence, max NCB.

TopCashback again Swinton were the cheapest £85.80. 9 pence more but I get £26 cashback, bringing the net cost to £59.80.

I was surprised how low the GoCompare quote was because I’m sure last year’s premium was in three figures before cashback.

Hadn’t got to the reminder email from Confused.com. They advised Swinton again at £85.59. :joy: And The Bike Insurer, again Swinton at £85.09 :joy::joy:

I think they arrive at the price by throwing dice.

Just renewed with BeMoto - didn't even bother looking round (which is most unlike me). The joint Titanium Policy for the Fireblade and Tiger only went up by £11 from last year. Good enough for me

Just had my renewal for Speedy and Benelli from Bikesure. Gone up about £30 so not going to gripe about that

i had a weird situation when i bought my thruxton in june. i had a MC policy on my previous CB650 and wanted to up the coverage a bit. my policy was with Liberty Mutual. the advisor on the phone said Liberty could not write new policies for MC's in Indiana. they put me through to Safeco which is one of their other holdings and they wrote the new policy. upping the coverage for a $7k MC compared to a $2k MC actually dropped the cost from @$600/yr to $250/yr. lol
