Great write-up, thanks. Lots of familiar places. We went to the memorial in Boulogne a few years back - very impressive.

 

Nowt wrong with your voice mate. I remember having had the best fillet of wild boar in my life in La-Roche-en- Ardennes! Coo and Malmedy are very pretty too.

The memorials and venues in Belgium are immaculately maintained.

 

As they say “planning and preparation prevents piss poor performance”. The 6P’s as it was called when I was working, though that was depending on which client I was working with. So sometimes it was the 5P’s
Norway and Sweden are excellent places to tour. It is a pity they stopped the ferry out Newcastle to Norway as it was so easy to get there.

 

@Bikerman, what a brilliant trip report, thank you. I'm quite late to your thread but just finished reading your commentary and enjoying your many photos. I was also very saddened by many of the photos. It must be especially sobering to be right there on sites where so many perished defending our freedoms. Thank you for taking the time to take photos and write up your experiences and share them with us.
