Mustang Seat On A 2014 Bonneville

I bought the bike and it came with an aftermarket seat (from what I understand, thicker) but I wanted something more comfortable. I ordered the Sport Touring seat and off Amazon and they sent the Classic by mistake, but I liked it. I sit a little lower and the bike seams to handle better with my ass closer to the ground.

 

I love the look but I am adding gel and more foam as after an hour and a half my butt starts hurting. I think if they sent me the sport touring seat (The one I paid for) instead of the classic seat I would be fine.

 

update-not doing the gel, just more foam padding.

 

I have a mesh pad that helped, I just need more for my old ass. Welcome to the forum, I love your bike and if you are not going to ride over 100 miles at a time, I love the style of the Mustang seat, the lower CG makes a lot of difference in the way the bike handles.

 

needs more shaping before the cover goes back on. Mustang hems the inside edge, very finished.

Cover is back on and you can't tell anything was done by looking at it. After it cools down a little form this heat wave I will give it a try and report back
