Hi all Just bought a 96 plate thunderbird 900 and loving it. Based in Peterborough and my other bike is a ZZR1400. Love the ZZR but getting back on an older bike bought back loads of memories of how we used to ride.

Hi Rob, Welcome to the forum , I also own a Thriumph Thunderbird 900 View attachment 167565 and a ZZR, but the 1100. Welcome to the forum, I have the same bike in blue, I also had a ZZR , the 1100 though, I love riding the T bird as I get older, the need for speed doesn't interest me as much. I enjoy the sound of the Browning exhausts ( a must have on these bikes) The no plastic all metal cosmetics. An ideal bike for pottering about around the country roads where I live in Kent. I wouldn't swop her for anything.i have owned her now for must be 10 years I guess .enjoy the ride
