Yes, always a concern but it looks like your fortunate on it's location.
Are you treating the RAC plug repair as temporary or permanent, as there seems a divided set of camps on that?

 

If it's the mushroom plug type fix I'd be leaving it in despite recommendations to the contrary. I had a similar wait on a Saturday evening a couple of years ago when I got a rear flat on the Street Scrambler which meant a recovery due to tubed rims. I've ended up riding the dirt bike home a couple of times with a flat after being given ridiculously long recovery response times but that's with the benefit of rim clamps of course. With tubeless rims and a decent repair kit a roadside fix is quick and easy, most of the time. Personally, I wouldn't bother with any of that liquid sealant crap. It's never worked for me and makes a right mess when you take the tyre off.

 

Unless a proper vulcanised repair is carried out, the end of the world might indeed be nigh.
