Hi.. Just started stripping the daytona, and underneath the tank I have a wire dangling loose. ANyone know where it plugs in? I thought it went onto one of the injectors but they all appear to have a wire plugged into them... its 2 wires as in the pictures one red/yellow and the other looks brown. I dont have a wiring diagram yet for the bike does anyone know where I can download one? its a 1997 T595.
Hi and welcome! My Daytona and Haynes Manual are in Wales at the moment and I am not I don't recognize the connector but is this any help? https://www.motorcyclemanuals.info/motocycles-atvs/triumph/ Cheers Geoff
It seems that there is a purge valve connector in the wiring loom but it is for California models only so would be redundant on your bike. It has 2 wires, 1 yellow & red, 1 brown & pink - could this be it?
Hi... Ive got to the bottom of the mystery wire... apparently the triple uses the same loom as the 4 cylinder bike so its a spare injector connector.. very odd but i suppose makes sense there was nothing to connect it too!
can i ask that you share a photo of the grounding wire, this is a wire near the battery that grounds the bike... ive just starting rebuilding mine and I cannot see where this wire goes?
Hi Does any one have a wiring diagram that i can simply double click on and open. I need the wiring diagram for my T595 daytona as its dead, no supply to the fuse despite having a fully charged battery

Many thanks Dave. I've saved it to my desktop PC for future reference. I did actually find the fault when messing about trying to get the key in and discovered the ignition switch is faulty so i've swopped across the switch from the other 595 i have and that should fix it
I had the same fault with my old 955 Speed3. Stripped the whole bike down trying to find the fault. Turns out the ignition switch was going past the connected point. If I turned the key back a fraction it was fine.
