Evening, going to pick up a 2018 Speedmaster on Thursday. Hopefully a bargain. Listed on EBay , start price £6500, buy now £8250. Put in a bid of £6600 and won it!! Just over 9k miles on the clock and 1 owner.
Any advice on what to look out for bar the numbers etc. Done an Hpi check and coming out all clear.
    Cheers

    Welcome.

2018 Speedmaster owner here. Bought new as a leftover in 2020.

You stole it. That bike on the U.S, market today is worth around $10k according to the Kelly Blue Book.

The most important thing to look out for are the cramps in your jaw muscles from constantly smiling when riding it.

The only gripe I have is that installing highway bars was a major pain. With any kind of luck the previous owner installed them and did the suffering for you.

Welcome to the family. Quite a good bike with few faults. So do test and listen to the engine and all should be fine. When you stop playing with it do hit the upload a file button bottom right and show it to the inmates. Joe

Hello! Similar story. Just bought 2020 speedmaster that only had 600 miles on it. Had loads of aftermarket accessories already put on it. and had already been fully serviced, oil change new battery etcetera! Also similar story I tried to install engine bars spent an entire afternoon trying to do it and ended up letting the dealer do it for me. They also installed the highway kit with floorboards which I really love. Have also added a few doodads myself. Turned it into a bobber and mounted a cargo box directly behind my seat which works fantastic as a backrest. Getting a flat bottomed cargo box mounted on a curved surface Fender guard was a real project! Had to actually fabricate some of the mounting brackets and spacers myself. But so far working great. Still have some work to do on it then we'll upload some photos to the website. Good luck with your new bike!
