    Hi guys,

So long story short I am kind of desperate to get my hands on a dual seat for my new Thruxton R 2017. Seems I'm getting too old/injured from my off on a Bonnie and may need to change the handlebars to a more rideable position too, which I've read can be done.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I can’t help with seat, but on the flat bars you can get an ABM conversion kit.

just google ABM conversion kit for a Thruxton and you should get a hit.

I did mine and it transformed the bike.

I'm probably being a bit slow....but on this site:
    https://www.bikermart.co.uk/Triumph-Thruxton-1200R-2016~-ABM-Superbike-Fat-Bar-Handlebar-Kit

There is an option for Heated grip kit in the 1st drop down menu & in the 2nd 'Heated bars select colours' or 'non-heated bars select colours'....I'm assuming if I already have the heated grips on the bike, I just need the 'heated bars' from 2nd drop down, but not the kit from the 1st drop down - could someone a bit more clued up let me know if this is correct or not?

    Cheers Guys.

As far as I can remember you need the heated grip version (assuming you have factory fitted heated grips) of the bars as they are different to the ones if you don’t have heated grips fitted.
A quick call to the supplier should be able to confirm for you.

Yup, needed both. Ordered now, along with the dual seat part number A9750863 that Triumph can't confirm fits my model bike, but the forum members insist it does - so both en route.
