Well no longer a virgin, sorry! My fantastic wife booked lessons etc for me as a gift on my 40th birthday. I passed back in November last year and have just picked up my first bike - 2021 Speed Twin. already started making it my own with a few little changes as you do. I’m from South Yorkshire and am very much looking forward to rides in and around the area. I met up with an old friend this last weekend and we covered 130 miles of Derbyshire, him on his Sprint ST that’s custom painted. Anyway - look forward to seeing what the forum is like and maybe seeing some of you out in the road.

Beautiful bike! And the background isn't too bad, either! Where is that? I lived in Hull a couple of decades ago, and loved the Yorkshire area! Beverly was charming, too. No bike back then (2-1/2 year old in a seat in the back of an estate, instead!). Are you planning trips further afield?
Hey Rob, That photo was taken during the ride through Derbyshire, couldn’t not take a photo stop at Chatsworth House. Planning on riding to The Motorist and Squires soon too and maybe even a trip down to Conningsby to watch the Typhoon's. The latter is where I actually first clapped eyes on the Speed Twin, the same colour way I bought - it had to be the silver - that was the first bike that turned my head away from wanting a HD 48.
