Have a look on World of Triumph website. All gearbox components appear to be listed separately.

 

Ok, I now see that some gearbox components are unavailable. Not really acceptable for a 5 year old bike. Might be worth contacting Triumph for an explanation?

 

Unfortunately discontinued parts for all manner of models are becoming more frequent, a number of parts for my 2020 STRS have been discontinued, the same was true for a Speed Triple 1050 I recently worked on for a friend. The build quality is now very poor, the machines made at the Hinckley factory prior to the factory production being moved abroad was very good, not so good now though. A number of riders I have spoken with say their next machine will be a different make, sad but expected really.

 

My youngest recently put my 68 plate street twin away and dropped it inside the workshop. The damage included a snapped off matt black plastic front mudguard, which surely is somewhere near the consumable category for parts given how easy say a stone/nail in the tyre or lock incident could damage it.
I checked up and it was no longer available and this is for less than a 6 year old bike.

Poor show Triumph!

I can't recall ever being made aware of this for Kawasaki's and Honda's I've had in the past; are Japanese bikes the better option?
