Hi People, I am new here and I start driving again last summer after 20 years on a 2015 Triumph Tiger 800 xrx. Love the bike, but have an iseueu were I can use some help. A few weeks back it would not start (after driving) Start motor was running just the engine did nothing. About 15 minutes later started normal but with the engine light on and that kept on for a while, brought it to a garage who could discover nothing (Did not had the equipment to read the engine) so got it back with I need your help, does anyone know which brand and model plug I can use to read my Triump Tiger (2015)? I have already bought these two and tried them unfortunately without success: https://www.amazon.nl/dp/B071D8SYXN?psc=1&ref=ppx_yo2ov_dt_b_product_details https://www.amazon.nl/dp/B00H9S71LW?psc=1&ref=ppx_yo2ov_dt_b_product_details Before I go broke on adapters who a work in my car but not the bike I tought of asking the question here. Greetings from Lincolnshire. Not too up to date with the Tiger 800, but my guess is that it sounds like the ignition pick up coil that's on the way out. You'll get a better answer if you post your question here. https://www.thetriumphforum.com/forums/technical-help.19/
Welcome back to riding and congratulations on your Triumph Tiger 800 XRx! For a Triumph Tiger 800 XRx (2015), generic OBD readers may not work. Look for motorcycle-specific OBD readers or consult Triumph dealers for recommendations.
