I have a tiger 900gtpro standard height which is doddle to put on its centre stand....my mate has a 2019 800xrx which he struggles to do the same....I tried and it's not easy. Does anyone out there have a problem. I said to him possibly lowered a little bit. Any thoughts?

Have to agree, the 900 GT Pro is the easiest bike I’ve ever put on a centre stand. Can’t comment on your mate’s bike, though.

I've had an 800 tiger in the past and it was a right pain to get it up on the centre stand. I've currently got a 900 tiger and as learningtofly says it's a doddle to get it up ( ooer missus ). When putting the 800 on the stand in my garage I would reverse the bikes back wheel onto a 25mm small plank of wood. That made getting it on the stand easier.

Triumph thought more about the 900 design and placed the centre stand fulcrum in the ideal position.

I recently sold a Tiger 800XRx after 6 years of ownership. The centre stand is difficult to use, I think is is a tad too long.

I eventually made a small wooden ramp which I placed in front of the back wheel. Pushing the bike on to the ramp elevated the back wheel by a couple of inches which then made using the centre stand a breeze. Out on the road I made use of undulating ground to again reduced how far the stand would need to elevate the rear wheel. It wasn't ideal but worked, a shorter stand or better leverage from Triumph would have been a better option.

Glad it's an easier task for the 2020 onwards model. Thanks all
