    Hello everyone,

Planning on buying a red 2000 t595/955i this weekend, I have a few technical questions regarding this potential purchase, hence I joined the forum...

I haven't ridden a bike for over 10 years, so this weekend buttcheeks clenched I'm going for a test-drive. My last ride was a Mille with a V-twin and at the dealership that serviced the bike I had a Triumph ST 955 as a replacement. I immediately fell in love with the tipple and knew I need to own one at a certain point in my life...

Welcome! If I understand correctly, you are buying the bike from a dealership. As such, you should understand what maintenance they have performed. That said, you can concentrate on regaining your confidence on the bike. Do you live in a lightly populated area? It's best to minimize your exposure to heavy traffic until you are more comfortable with the bike. I love you photo of the bike! Best of luck! Here in New Jersey, USA, the riding season won't commence for a few months. Salt and gravel on the roads from snow treatment make the roads a bit messier for motorcycles, in spite of our ability to dress warmly.
