Found an old 70s seat with the Triumph lettering faded off the back of the seat. Any suggestions as to how I can recreate the lettering or where I can find a stencil...

I just used a gold Sharpie pen and coloured it in.

You can't tell from the photo but my seat had the embossed triumph logo so it was easy to colour in - bit harder if it's just plain lettering.

Does anyone know where the short hing goes on a 77 seat, front or back?

You could just get it embroided over the top, just had mine done in old gold by a local auto trim guy. Looks the part.
