Hi all been off here for a while. Trying to get the 2002 Bonnie ready for mot and numerous issues keep cropping up.
Latest one is the L/h carb is leaking, I changed the float bowl seals but seems to be the same.
I can't locate where exactly it's leaking from.
Is this a common issue that has cropped up previously? Hoping it is as I have spent ages trying to find the source.

Leaking carbs are usually caused by sticking float valves. Sometimes a tap with a small hammer will free it off.

Have you tried testing the float bowl (off the bike) for possible porosity? It would, I imagine, be pretty rare but not unheard of. Early carbs (AMAL et al.) were made of mazac and this can, I think, become porous if not well cast.

Is it leaking or flooding? Have you checked the float height?

Only went and worked. Lump of wood and a tap from the hammed, sorted many thanks to those who commented appreciate it.
