Koti Autotalli means "Home Garage" in Finnish, my other native language. Not really correct language both beeing substantives but anyhow. What is the Finnish connection?

 

I do not know whether the owners have any Finnish connection, or whether the name has been used as it sounds good (it's quite "hipster") and their branding is "home" according to their website.

 

OK, i have to say my knowledge of "hipsterism" is low!

 

Booked my speed triple s in for it's mot, 12th July 9am. Hopefully there's not a heatwave on the way, my mot runs out tomorrow :-(

 

Mine too, I am the polar opposite of hipster .

I took my recently completed custom built CX500 there back in 2019 - it broke down on the way home

 

A quick morning ride to the North West of Alnwick along some very narrow but deserted back roads.

Found some interesting abandoned farm buildings after crossing a ford

Whatever you are doing with your Triumph do NOT accessorise it!

Was browsing for heated grips for the Street Triple and sort of bumped into the cruise control switch. Knowing that this was never an option for the bike and being a disbelieving MOG I downloaded the fitting instructions.

Those of you familiar with your bikes handbook or the fitting instructions of accessories will know and be aware of the many warning messages for numpties that are strewn throughout these documents.

Well this one just about takes the biscuit.

 

Passed mot today, the first one it's had due to not being on the road, despite now being 5 yrs old.
1st July tomorrow so will be taxed and in service, ready for Barton bike night next weekend

I really must catch up with my posts as I've had a few trips whilst we've been staying in Northumberland near Alnwick. Probably get the laptop out when I get back.

I can remember picking up a selection of sausages from that butchers on my way home, 2017, very nice they were too.

 

A little ride out on the T100 to check it out and ended up in Poole with some friends.

 

What year is it? I see it’s a big bearing motor.
