Hi all. I’m from central PA and have been riding the Tiger 1050 for the past four years. Today I purchased my dream bike, the Tiger 1200 Rally Explorer. Admittedly this is a lot of bike. I’m loving it so far, but I’m also intimidated with the taller profile. I placed the seat position in the low setting, but I’d feel safer and more confident with another 1-2” drop. I realize this is the newbie area for getting accustomed to the forum, but I’m starting my quest for information right off the bat. Also I’m interested in discovering adventure riding trails in the Harrisburg, Lancaster, York, and Cumberland County areas, at least as a starting point. I’d also love to hear from other Tiger fans.
Hi ya from across the Delaware River. 1. Buy boots with really thick soles 2. Let half the air out of your tires 3. See if there's a lowering kit for your Tiger
1&2 - LOL, and I actually considered that. 3. I can't find one. Soupy's is the usual go-to for these, but they do not have a kit for this year and model (yet).
