    Hello All -
Noob member here from Charlotte, North Carolina, USA.
Just picked up my first Triumph - a Street Triple 765 RS Moto2 in white. #421.
Very lucky to have a Streetfighter V2 next to it in the garage.
Appreciate being here and look forward to learning a lot about what it means to own a Triumph

Hi Marc. Nice ride! I am waiting for mine to come in next week. How would you compare the Streetfighter seating position as opposed
to the moto2? Are the clips ons very low? What other pros and cons do you see with both bikes stacked up against each other? Thanks!

    Thank you!
So, I traded in an Aprilia RS 660 for the Moto2. I bring this up only to say that I am finding the riding position on the Moto2 very similar to that bike, but give the edge in comfort to the Triumph. You are leaned forward a bit, but it is not anything extreme like sitting on any of Yamaha's supersport bikes.
On the SFV2 - yes it has higher bars, but it still gives you a leaned forward position. I can't say for certain, but it feels like you are closer to the bars than on the Moto2. I frequently find myself scooting back in the seat on SFV2. The tank is pretty narrow where it meets the seat and the seat itself is more narrow than the Moto2. The Moto2's seat kind of wraps around the tank and I find it easier to grip the tank with my legs.
TFT dash is better and easier to read at a glance on the SFV2, but it lacks a fuel gauge.
The SFV2 has an ability to adjust engine braking, which is huge plus for me.
The Moto2 does have a cruise control option, making it a better choice for longer freeway rides.
Wind blast is better on the Moto2 as the SFV2 is truly naked up front with not much to deflect the wind before it hits you.
To me these bikes have very contrasting styles. The SFV2 is very angry and because it isn't really happy at lower speed and RPM is always begging to be ridden hard. The harder you push it, the better the induction noise, which on this bike is simply amazing the higher up in the rev range you get. The Moto2 just seems happy at any speed or RPM. Just out for a casual ride? Moto2 is happy. Wanna push it to its limits? It is just as happy and that Triple engine just sings. I also find the Moto2 more willing and easier to dive into a corner. If I could only have 1 of them, in my opinion, the Moto2 would be easier to live with day to day or if you are riding in the city or commuting.

Overall, I do love them both. If I am having a rough day, feeling frustrated or just want/need to work out some aggression, the SFV2 is the perfect antidote to that.
Sorry for rambling on a bit, but hope that all makes sense and helps!
