Hey all, I have never been on this forum before so I figured I would hop on. I rode a 1971 Bonnie Bobber from mid 2000's until 2 years ago. For the last year I had a brand new KLR sitting in my garage that I only managed to put 202 miles on it. It turned out that just wasn't the bike I thought it would be. Sure I could go anywhere and do a lot with it... it just wasn't comfortable nor fun to ride. Last Saturday morning I jumped on the KLR, rode 212 miles in 3.5 hours and handed the keys over. Sitting out front waiting on me was a 2022 Thruxton RS with only 6 miles on it. I jumped on that beast and hit the road for a 4.5 hour ride through the country side on the way home. All in all a little over 500 miles that day. It was a good ride home. Just wish the weather was nicer!
Hi mate and welcome from the south coast. Love the Thruxtons, and yes we are waiting for that weather to warm up. Good luck
