    Hello!

Looking for a slip-on exhaust for my 2023 Thruxton RS. I’ve been test riding the Bobber last week and it sounds so good compared to the Thruxton it’s mad.

    So far I’ve looked at:
    - Vance and Hines - wish I could go for this, but seems discontinued
    - SC project - not sure about the fit but main contender I think
    - Weslake shorty - sound a bit metallic to me, from videos anyways
    - Jekhill and Hide - a bit pricey, but why not…

    Any recommendation?

    thanks a lot!

I've got the Westlakes with baffles in, doesn't sound metallic to me, one of the best sounding bikes I've ever owned.

Anything SC project needs to be listened to 1st before purchase in my opinion, to ensure the volume is acceptable to you.
All the SC offerings I've been involved in are just too loud, and the last one I fitted (Yamaha 700 Tracer) wasn't a particularly good fit and required adjustments.

    Hello everyone,

so eventually I went with a Jekyll and Hyde exhaust here are my two cents:
It’s quite amazing, although very pricey. There are 3 positions:
    - valve closed the exhaust is possibly even quieter than stock
    - valve half opened it’s quite a bit louder and has a nice old school grunt to it, but not overly loud
    - valve opened very deep sound, borderline too loud but not crossing the line for me. Tons of pops too for those who like that. Sounds really amazing at low and mid rev, not very loud at higher revs which makes it very tolerable at highway speeds.

It’s a perfect match for me, very happy with it and I would recommend it.

    Cheers!
