    Hi Tam,
Fitted a set from eBay to my 2015 Sprint. One inch rise. Left hand switchgear just rubs the fairing at full lock but not a problem. Biggest problem was the clutch cable, a bit tight, but I straightened the pipe on the cable slightly and this helped. The clutch cable gets in the way of getting the key in, but I can live with that.
Overall, worth doing, a much more comfortable riding position. Only had the bike three months but completed a 900 mile tour two weeks ago and all was good!

    Cheers,
    Pete

    Hi Sprinter,
    I'm 5' 11" with a short 31" inside leg.
My Wife is 5' 6" with the same inside leg measurement. I check this as often as I can just to make sure!
This proves to me how stumpy my legs are for my height :(

    Hi Guys

Can you tell me what difference they have made?
I still want to maintain a sporty position on my GT and don't want to feel like I'm sitting upright but feel I'm putting a lot of wait on my wrists.
I've not done any serious mileage on the bike yet, as I only get her last Oct/Nov but worried the wrist strain will be multiplied after numerous miles!

Also, not the thread topic, but is the original saddle on the GT really good for long distances?
The stock saddle on my GSXF was horrible after 1-2 hours and the GT doesn't feel much different at first!
Should I be looking to a custom saddle???

Sorry to highjack the thread for 2 questions!

On the wrists I find after a couple of hours I feel them them I realise I have to move about a little I cant just sit in exactly the same way for hours, After that its fine realy. Next the seat, seven hour days easy. Ive done that many times

With regards to your wrists getting sore, is that with or without risers?

Reviving an old Thread from nearly 5 years ago :)

My 2 trips out on the 2017 Sprint GT 1050 so far this year have confirmed for me that I need bar risers to make this a bike I can ride and sustain long distances on.

Are there any bar risers to avoid or that you can recommend please?

    Thanks

    Geoff

I had genmar 1 inch risers on my old Sprint, definitely helped me.
Ebay have similar risers, £79.99 that look the part.
