Hi all. I have owned various Triumphs on and off since about 1972 (amongst other bikes) and my current steed is a 2019 T120 Black with Vance and Hines exhaust. I bought it at just 250 miles as the first owner changed to a Tiger. A particular choice as my wife wants to get back to occasional pillioning so a comfy FLAT seat was essential. I’ve made a few changes… Classic bar tank badges. Givi rack plus cheapo chinese mini bag bolted to it for nick-nack carrying. Most important…16t gearbox sprocket now makes the bike properly rideable as the gearing suits pull away and set speed limits much better. Gripes… Idiot lights invisible in bright light and reflection from sun on the dials. Ball on prop stand small for big feet but fixed with a rubber foot. My said big feet ground on tight roundabouts - not helped that my other bike is a KTM 690 Enduro for trail riding where my feet are much higher off the ground. Likes… Easy going classic style, comfortable and good fun now I’ve sorted out the gearing. Great (to me) to look at. Safer than my now sold ‘67 Trophy that bit my leg when my knee twitched and the kickstart slipped - ouch. I’ll have to add a photo when I can reduce the file size on my computer.
Thanks for the welcome. Photos should go up tomorrow but I’m a bit confused as the Gallery upload gives a way bigger file size limit than my iphone photos but I get a ‘file size too large’ warning. My other fora are on Vertical Scope and they have auto transfer. Is it me?
The rack is the same and the bag almost identical to Island Rider’s photos that are showing on the side bar. The bag took three months to fail to arrive from China, I got a refund and then it turned up out of the blue about 6 weeks later but I couldn’t contact the seller to pay for it. Not too much guilt as it was only £16.95.
I have a 2018 T120 and was wondering what the part numbers were for your Vance and Hines mufflers. I found a set locally that came off of a T100 and wondered if they would fit my T120 as they appear unavailable anymore new. The guy says the part numbers are A9600669 and A9600668. Any help would be appreciated. Ride Safe ZShyster
