    Hi guys

Just bought the warrior paddock stand and was about to put the bike on it - however I'm not sure how it looks!

Had a gsxr on a standard stand years ago but this single sided one looks narrow! Anyone out there with the same stand that can tell me if the attached pic looks the same as theirs? I'm on my own so haven't the luxury of a spare pair of hands supporting the bike

    Thanks in advance

I agree. That's extremely narrow on the rhs in my eyes also.
I don’t have the same stand but the one I have (constands) is way wider.

I recently bought the same Warrier stand for my Sprint ST1050 and it looks exectly the same as yours. The downside (for me) is that so far I've struggled to get the back wheel even an inch off the ground as I reckon the handle is too short to get any decent leverage. I'm in my 70's and obviously not as strong as I thought I was! Anybody any tips as to how to make it easier for an old geezer like me? I've also got a Speed Twin, a Street Scrambler and a Street Triple and I can get the back wheel of any of them off the ground on a MotoGP or Oxford stand no problem, so I reckon it's just a problem with the Sprint / Warrier stand combo.

Thanks jimbo - tbh I'm 50ish and struggling lifting the back! Reckon you're right and tye stand should have a longer handle

I have a warrior stand like that and find it easy to use on my T509. Just insert the stand fully into the single side swing arm, straighten the bike up so the wheels of the stand are flat to the floor, and push downwards on the handle. Job done, and wheel clear of the floor easily enough to work on the chain etc.

I've now tried to get the rear off the ground. Not even with all my bodyweight on the stand will the wheel lift! Yet online vids show similar stands lifted by one hand.... not sure on this!

Hi I have been to my garage today and measured my stand
The handle height is 70 cm.
The wheels measure 57 cm outside edge to edge.
Width of handle arms 52 cm.
    Lift height 39cm.
    All approx, within 1 cm.
The attached pic shows stand inserted into swingarm, mine does appear to be wider, maybe this is your problem. Bought my stand from demon tweeks a couple of years ago

Hi sprintdave- ta for the info.

I managed to get the bike on the stand but only with help from a mate. No chance I could do it on my own!

Also - the width of the stand was very narrow, and i thought wasnt stable enough to give me peace of mind. I've decided to leave it and get bobbins / double sided stand instead ....

    Thanks all for the replies
