    Minnesooota, eh?

Welcome from a neighbor in NJ. Well, at least in the sense that we're on the same continent.

You can't go wrong with a Triumph.

Welcome to the forum, Geoff! I love your phrase "seasonally challenged riding window". I'm a former Minnesotan (now in warm sunny Arizona) so I completely understand what you mean. Maybe you can get some studded snow tires for that new Tiger 900 to use in the snow. Hang in there! I hope you enjoy the forum. :)

I love my GT Pro 900 Tiger. I'm in Australia and upgraded from a KTM 790R.

Interesting. I've been looking at the CB500X to use as a secondary/tertiary bike. Do you feel you've outgrown it?

BTW - you'll love the Tiger!

I like the 500,but wanted some of the bells and whistles for the longer trips, cruise control being one of them. I felt the 500 was at its limit on a long trip for comfort.

    Thanks!
How is the 500 on the highway? I assume it's working pretty hard at 70 mph, is the engine smooth or is it getting buzzy?
The Tiger will seem luxurious! Just make sure to demo it. That's a nice feature when shopping Triumph vs most Japanese brands.
