    has this happened to you?
Riding along at good cruising speed, some traffic ahead of you travelling at a decent rate and something hits your foot! Now it doesn't hit the outside or inside of your foot but the top part around the ankle, it also doesn't ping at you at speed but kind of thunks. Now, do you ride on and think nothing more of it? Stop and have a look to see what it was? or think about it, get paranoid that a bolt or nut has come off the bike, worry about it, stop in a lay-by and check all bolts and nuts that are visible in line and I front of your foot, then although you've found nothing missing turn round and go back to where you think you felt it and scour the road for nuts bolts etc? Well that happened to me today and I did the latter and by the amount of nuts and bolts I found on the roadside I'd say there's a lot of vehicles about to fall apart out there!!
Ps didn't find anything that looked like it came off the tiger!

Got a smack on the back of helmet as I was putting the side stand down on my return from a run out last summer. Af first I thought it was Mrs al sneaking up on me, so I turned round to give her a mild rebuke and saw a rather stunned House Martin picking itself up off our drive way. Little bugger just tottered around, shook it's head and flew off.
