A very sad day indeed to lose a faithful friend.

 

Glad to hear he has come around, I hope it continues that way.
I had to have one of the back legs amputated on my 2 yr old border collie last month, that was bad enough, but she recovered very quick.

Sad new Large-one. I know only too well how you feel, felt the same when we had to do the same for our old cocker spaniel a few years back. Still probably for the best especially if he was suffering. Chin up, suck it in and toast his passing with a couple of glasses of your favourite libation.

 

I'm not reet good wi languages all I know yerksher is someweer east of Owdham. Is it that bit of India or Pakistan between Lancashire and Denmark?
Can't slag yon Tykes off too much, I have some long lost relatives somewhere up near Howarth, Harle Syke I think, they went there in the 1800's to stop the heathens interbreeding.

It's not us Yorkshire folk fault that our shoelaces need tying up just before getting to the pub door as we'd definitely be first to the bar

I'm pleased to hear he's making a recovery. Taking a pet to the vets for the last time is an awful experience. I'll keep my fingers crossed he continues to improve.
