"well pleased with that" is another!
Now, he's just split an engine in two, using just a hacksaw and it's perfect. I'd be saying alot more than that me thinks...

Severe lack of bike programs on tv that aren't about racing etc,it's always good to have someone putting out watchable stuff even if he's a bit if a twat sometimes,he's got a real enthusiasm and worth a watch he's also got a program called fund it fix it drive it and that's worth a gander also.

I've tried to watch this Cole bloke a few times and I find him a bit like my piles......bearable some of the time but much of the time a right PITA. Hat's off to Mr Millyard and some of his creations although, as an enthusiastic home mechanic, I do sometimes find his matter of factness about seemingly impossible DIY engineering achievements annoying. :joy:

I'm guessing he is somewhere on the spectrum and cannot compute that others can't see the simplicity in the engineering:cool:

Well what's the thoughts on last night's programme. I thought it was OK, nothing to complain about. Nice places to put on the to visit list. He didn't say the opposite of Left too many times, and Man wasn't flogged to death as well. Thumbs up from me up then.

Well, for the first fifteen minutes I hardly noticed the skinning; then it gradually became much more obvious. The shade/colour slowly changed and became much closer to the swatch and to the indicator panel on the tin .......

OH, WAIT, what? You mean a TV show with who in it? :D:D

I wish there was more off road 2 wheeled sport on TV. Occasionally there's some motocross or enduro events on Eurosport but that's it. Anyone remember the "Kick Start" and "Junior Kick Start" series shown on BBC1 from the late '70's-'80's?. It was that series that got me interested in riding off road and my first TY250.

Last nights Motorbike Show was very enjoyable. Pretty much the same formula but that's what we like, and it works. The new BSA tested, a Zed thou resurrection started, Goodwood visited, some lovely countryside (Wiltshire), Alan M doing his (very clever) thing and something about trikes..not my cup of Rosie Lee but he's catering for a wide range of tastes.
So thank you Mr Cole and I'm looking forwards to the next episode.

I thought last night's show was fine, nice to see some of my early haunts in Wiltshire when I'd just got into motorcycling in the 70's. It's a shame they've chosen to do up another jap multi having just done the moto martin last series. Plus, previously he'd done that chopper (definitely not my type), eventually if the show lasts long enough, they might do the type of bike that I'd be interested in. I don't think he liked the BSA even though he tried to sum it up at the end with some slight enthusiasm. It's good to see a bike show on tv though and I'll be watching every episode.
