Given that I've moved over to the dark side with a Harley due to be collected in a week or two, I've decided to move on a couple of brilliant Triumph jackets that I bought a while back and have since worn about once each (I currently have NINE jackets). They're both size medium and fit true to size, so good for a 40" chest and not too rotund a physique.

The first is the Beinn GTX, which you can find here. It's a superb technical jacket with a Gore-Tex inner jacket (which can be worn on its own) and a myriad of features - do read the description in the link. This one is now sold.

The second is a sightly lighter/less technical Gore-Tex jacket, this time the T1 Deck. The details of this one can be found here (just scroll down a bit for the spec), but again it's a beautifully crafted jacket, with multiple season use.

This one retails for £450, and I'd like £125 delivered with tracking in the UK.
    Now sold as well.

At retail the combined priced would be £1050. I was lucky enough to pick them up in the sale, though, and am now prepared to let them go as a pair for just £285 delivered. I haven't posted photos of them hanging from a door handle (but can if you really want me to) - they're in perfect condition and complete with all the armour that they came with.

I’m very tempted by this, where are you based? Would you be happy for me to come over and try them on if convenient?

I'm in Hertfordshire, Matt, Borehamwood to be precise. Yes, that would be fine as long as it was a convenient time (I seem to work every hour under the sun).

Thanks, that’s a bit of a bugger for me to get to so don’t worry. I’ll have a think and let you know. Out of interest, what build are you? I’m 12-13st, average to slim build and 6ft…do you reckon they’d fit ok?

I'm 11-11.5 stone and average to slim build too, but a fair bit shorter. Given that the jackets are too long for me I imagine they'd be fine, Matt.

I'm interested in the Beinn GTX, but not the other one. Are you adamant you will only sell as a pair? and if you will split them what would you want for the GTX?

I'd let that go for £185, including UK tracked delivery.

Just the T1 Deck available now, at £125 delivered. This jacket retails at £450 and is barely worn, so something of a bargain I'd have thought.

If you're a standard medium it should be fine for you, Matt. If anything it's cut slightly on the slim side, but I'm a 41 chest and 34 waist and I have plenty of room in it.

I'm absolutely sure the jacket's worth more, but I've already got a rail full of jackets, so I'd like to offer £100 in case it's less hassle than ebay

I'm about 10-15 minutes away in Borehamwood.
