Well , not today, but bought this week 26 yr old beastie, for my Cousin Alistair. He is coming over to Western Australia in September. He sent me the money, we exchanged details of what he was interested in .

    So Ta Da
Here it is on the day I picked her up
She shows her age up close , scratches which are age appropriate as they say..... ! IMG_20220801_093503_956.JPG
Been for a few rides , mostly 100 plus Miles each , she is running better each ride ! Stale fuel etc has a lot to do with the initial poor response and running.
I can't wait for my Older Cousin to arrive ! He's older by around 30 Days :p;) he was born late Dec 61 , My birthday 21 Jan 62 !! He hated Christmas as a Child, only got presents once a year :joy::joy::joy:

The rain finally stopped long enough to get in an hour ride.

Snap @Dawsy I tested positive on Friday with the wife, laid up since. Got up today, feeling a little better. Don’t feel strong enough just yet to get on the bike.

Agreed no fun at all. I started with a runny nose Friday morning and by tea time was in bed. Didn’t get up until today. Throat and chest were on fire and the cough is really painful. Hopefully on the mend now, and not sorry about that at all. If having had the jabs reduced the impact, I’m so glad I had them cause that has been bad enough.

I did my usual commute today with a little extra travel between sites added in - beautiful weather and the route between the work sites is also a beauty, so all good :).

    Yesterday actually.

Rode escort to a good friend from his funeral in church to his burial at a nearby cemetery. One of his relatives on a black Honda Rebel rode alongside as well. He was carried in a sidecar hearse attached to a T120 black:pensive:. He would have loved the sight and sound of those three twins.

His last bike was an imported black Honda Valkyrie:cool:, which sadly he had to sell about 11 years ago when he developed a series of crippling diseases.

I met him about a year ago when he and I were staying on the same cardiac ward (his pacemaker/defibrillator was failing and I had myocarditis).

He was the kindest, most compassionate, interesting and interested person you could hope to meet, with a lovely close family (who will miss him enormously).

It was a truly positive funeral and whilst its a bit of a cliché; our loss is certainly Heaven's gain.

I'm glad I have a bike to have been able to do that for him.

I used my wife's Bonnie today for the ride to and from the office so she wouldn't have to stand so sadly in the garage while my honey is working abroad. A few of my colleagues were irritated for a short time, as they suspected another motorcycle change on my part. After a brief explanation that it was only a motion ride, everyone was reassured again.:D

Today I did the same like yesterday with the TIGER 900 of my wife and used it for a ride to and from the office. This time my colleagues weren`t irritated. :D

Not yet - and that'll be a while, too!
She's still getting used to her striple.
We're off to Limburg in the South for a long weekend on the bikes 1st weekend of September.
