I'm looking for an aftermarket replacement screen for my 2017 RS, the Puig looks ok and I might go for one of those, but if any of you guys/gals have one or something similar I'd be interested to hear your views, thanks

I have a Powerbronze on mine that's pretty good. I like it as it doesn't go over the top of the front fairing, but it obviously depends which look you prefer. It deflects the wind quite nicely for me, I am on the shorter side though so don't know how a tall rider might find it.

Johne I've got a Puig. Works fine, like new, but I'm selling it. $100, fob Anderson, SC

Thanks for the offer mate but I see you are located Stateside. I can get a new one here in the UK for about the same money.

Good to know. I haven’t sorted one out for my bike yet but had narrowed it down to the Powerbronze one as it’s a tad taller than the OE one.

Which, of the many colours, is yours, as it would match my black and red colour scheme well.

It's the dark tint @Baza. It's a bit of a hassle to fit on the R compared to RS, but worth it!

I guessed it was and will go for the same colour on mine, albeit a different colour scheme to yours, according to the internal factory data it’s Sapphire Black

Interesting what you say about fitting it. PowerBronze also do headlight protectors for the S and RS models but not our R models so there are obviously some differences with the nacelle units on our bikes.

I guess it’s all down to the “dash display”. I know this might sound a tad sour grapes but of the LED vs TFT I do prefer the digitally created Analogue tacho but that’s me and ingrained old school preferences.

Yes the RS fitting is a couple of screws out pretty much, front cowl off, screen on and back together. The R needs the headlights dropping, instrument cluster moving forwards etc. The instructions for the R aren't totally clear and two of the screws are tricky to access but you can work it out easily enough.....if I could anyway I am absolutely certain you can!!

I also much prefer the analogue / LCD combo on the R - especially given all the issues that have been experienced with the TFT screens.

In the end I opted for a power bronze screen too. It hasn't arrived yet, I assume its fairly straightforward to fit?

It came today so I'll answer my own question; it was a doddle to fit. :)
