I've thought about buying a new AGV helmet over the last week or 2, had a bit of a shock last night when I planned to buy a K6 - helmet prices have gone up at least 20% in the last 48 hours! I've checked various shops, all the same, and looks as though it's not just AGV...... *sigh*
Just checked on the going rate for my Arai RX 7V Mamola Edge Red and the Arais are still competitively priced. Is it just an AGV thing?
From what I could see HJC and Shark have gone up too. Having bought 3 Arais prior to my AGV, dropping down their range each time I finally decided to look for better value elsewhere..... I'll check them out again, if they have not (yet??) increased then they are definitely an option.

Not sure if it applies in this case ...but clear your cache on your PC browser etc....as sometimes "they know" and a cheaper price won't be found.... This happens A LOT when looking for flights and holidays...I wouldn't be surprised it happens for other things too!
After yet more searching I ended up buying an AGV K6 from Infinity Motorcycles - £280 for a 5* Snell rated, light helmet. So not so bad in the end.
Just out of curiosity I had a look at the AGV website and was really surprised at the pricing level of their product range.
I had a shark Spartan Carbon and after about 18 months it started falling apart. The top air vent flew apart while riding, the visor mounts kept coming loose. I would not buy another Shark you dont seem to be able to contact the company.
