sorry to hear that sort of news. But good news that you aren’t damaged….
Quality riding gear pays off once again. Good luck with the Aprilia. Keep using the forum though as it’s a great place to be.
Can you post some photos once you get the Tuono..?
Hopefully this one will last a bit longer…

    Yes, indeed.

Will do, which sub-forum should I do that in?

I'll try and keep this one butter side up!

The Lounge will do for non-Triumph topics. Put a thread in there.

Yeah, really unfortunate turn of events. I was all-in on the 1200RS because I loved my 1050R and it never missed a beat other than a couple of false neutrals with the QS that resolved itself.

The 1200RS is, without doubt, a weapon of a bike but the initial reliability issues and then the accident have just put me off. So I figured best to walk away.

Got a cracking deal on the Tuono which made it a no brainer (had a 2014 V4 RR prior to the 1050R). £16,200 including the Akra.

Sometimes you just feel cursed! A change of scene is probably the right move.

Hopefully Spring is just around the corner and we can all start to enjoy the bikes again on some warm, dry, sunny days.

Hey Neal, yeah I think you're right. I just posted on PH, the Tuono arrived earlier today and the insurance cheque. Happy days!

44 Teeth put a 1200RS on the Dyno and came up with 156bhp at the rear wheel, which if you factor in a 12% loss from crank to wheel, equates to 177bhp, so spot on to Triumph’s claim.

    Hi guys
Don't know if people are aware that there's another triumph speed triple 1200rs recall
Rear rotor bolts.... also for those people who have had "low oil pressure " warnings..triumph have a so called ecu update to solve the problem......well on some bikes I've been told by my dealer if not solve the problem there gonna put new oil pump on all bikes that don't get fixed by the magic ecu update.....yet again so I've been told by dealership....

I only rode my Speed Twin and CBR650R for last 5-6 weeks ... climbing back on the Speed Triple 1200 my god it's a missile, short shifting and it's still at 100 so fast.

Evotech.it tail tidy. Looks different, compared to evotech performance tail tidy..... more "road legal"

It was not exactly plug&play, as they advertised on their web, but it could be installed with few basic tools and 3-4 hours free time for it.

Well after a years ownership with the 1200rs, and problems after warranty claims.......here we go again 1st of day of collection I noticed the petrol tank has defects, and the clutch cover was scratched and engine covers..so 1st claim went in ...all replaced 2nd problem...low oil pressure....after going to dealer twice sorted.......3rd problem... fuel gauge stopped working.........warranty claim.....fuel sensor and motor replaced.....now 4th claim.......basically won't stay I gear ......so in dealer as we speak getting gearbox stripped down and awaiting triumph to expect claim.......really getting pi**ed now this has definitely put me off buying triumph again....of course getting offered sh*t part x price........

Finally, Zard has arrived. Now, I don't have any free time to mount it, but I'm on vacation from 8.8., so it will be soon.
I have to mention that product finish is premium, and there is no difference from akrapovič or termi.
