Riding some, modding a bit and other mechanical repairs. Used motorcycles give plenty of opportunities for all three. No really long rides yet and mainly around the city, local parks and so on. The pandemic kept me home a bit more and messed with my riding plans. Finally just decided it was time to go out after I was fully vaccinated. Enjoying the Thruxton very much and putting my own flavor on it. I’ve been eliminating plastic parts in favor of aluminum. I think it just looks a bit sharper that way. Going to do an idler boss reinforcement and a clutch disc replacement next. Then more riding.
Welcome to the forum. My youngest lad has a 2012 model in Diablo Red. He and his older brother have just acquired a 2008 model in the same colour that has been sitting outside without a cover for two years. They plan to bring it back to life and then pass it on to someone who will give it the TLC it deserves.
