Yes. Fixed it completely. That was around 2 years ago and still fixed to date. Brought the modified pin from 'Fowlers Parts' and clutch plates from EBC.

Thanks @Darren51274 my current plan is to investigate the clutch pack, checking the friction and drive plates for thickness as well as warping. Should that be all ok then the pin is certainly next.

I found that all the friction plates were stuck together to steel plates so they did not seperate when clutch was pulled causing clutch to drag.
Always worst when bike was warm/hot.
Plate thickness was not a problem and neither was warping. Could possibly clean them and refit but i wouldnt bother as clutch plates not mega expensive when weighed up against doing the job twice.
From memory modified clutch pin was around £20-£30

Brought mine from fowlersparts.co.uk Part number T1171234 £46.18

Like everything else has gone up since i brought mine. Its not listed for my speed triple chassis range but is exactly the same part but has the swirl in it for the oil to get through.
Please check it is the correct one for your bike but i am told they are all the same!!

I have come across exactly the same on a low mileage Tiger through standing and the plates drying out, and becoming stuck together, I split them up and left them soaking in 15w 50 Mobil 1 for a couple of nights, then reassembled with a new cover gasket, problem cured and as good as new, hopefully this will be the same for you.
