Just ordered the radiator and oil cooler guards from Evotech. It was a choice between Evotech or R&G.

On another point, page 70 of my Triumph manual states the Triple R has a quick shifter fitted as standard ???
I pointed this out to my supplying dealer and will keep you updated.

Arrived and fitted... feel it would have looked even better with the embossing.

Does a neat job of protecting and visually darkening the area. Brilliant quality. Much thicker than I expected. And what looks like a very durable finish.

    Well done evotech

Sure it'll run a tad hotter butter triumph sell one also. Our climate isn't that hot.

Evotech supply a lot of race teams.... plenty or air can get through.

Will keep an eye on Tempsford and feed back if it's an issue

Mine runs at about 2/3 up the temp scale with Evotech radiator and oil cooler guards fitted, even on the real hot days we've recently had. As they have been fitted from just after new, I can't remember what it run at without. Fan cuts in quite often when running at town speeds, which is not a bad thing as it keeps it from seizing.

Hot here in Devon today. No fan even with spirited driving on b roads. But I got the usual amount of fan action in street traffic as expected.

The gauge can only be a guide as it just bars rather than a reading. Pretty happy with the guards and would be happy to recommend.

Also evotech have been good as gold. They called me today to let me know the tail tidies were available. And they answer the phones as late as 8pm on a weekday.

If I were you I would check the new prices of the coolant and oil radiators - eye watering or what !!! That'll make your mind up for you. Imagine the front wheel chucking up a stone into the rads - OUCH !!!!!

As above!! The fact that triumph sell their own as well suggests the bike can cope with one fitted

That was the clincher for me. I picked up a large ding in the radiator within the first week.

It's no brainer  bought the Triumph one same sort of money and they must take air flow into consideration as I'm sure they don't want blown motors :D

Ebay have an oem one.. best of going direct to a dealer though if that's what you want and save postage etc.

My concern is they show it as grey in colour.. think black looks better.

    Maybe they do two versions.

Also as a note Evotech do a matching oil one so it all ties in.

How did fitting go with the Triumph rad guard, where does it fit to and any clearance issues.
