    Hi,
I need expert help. I have a 1996 Triumph Adventurer 900. It’s been in the shop and had the carbs professionally cleaned and all OEM internals. New head to carb rubbers, new gas cap, new plugs, air filter also inline gas filter, new brakes, chain, battery and much more. Coils tested with great spark. I’ll ride for 6 to 8 miles and it dies. Sit for a couple of minutes and it’ll start back up and go for another 6 or so miles and act like it’s running out of gas. On a 30 mile ride it quit 4 or 5 times. Had it back to the repair shop 3 times. I’m at a loss and a loss of patience. Anyone have a clue that knows these motorcycles? I would really love some help. I have a ton of money invested in this bike. Thank you in advance.
    Desperate,
    Dan Mercer

Sounds like a tank breather issue. Does it have a separate breather pipe? Can you take it for a ride with the cap open?

I think @Linx has the answer for you mate, sounds like fuel starvation. If the breather pipe is blocked then the vacuum in the tank will prevent fuel getting through ;)

Fuel pipe kinked? On Sprints, Tridents and Trophies it is a common problem

I’ll check that out and try to find a new roll over valve.
