Hi can anyone help? I've never used a forum before so new territory for me. I injured my left hand and need a clutch lever with a small reach so I don't strain the injury further. I need an adjustable clutch lever that will fit a 2004 Bonneville 790cc. I used to have Pazzo levers on my Speedtriple which were ace as you barely had to touch them to change gear of brake but these won't fit my bonnie. My local Triumph dealer suggested the Daytona adjustable lever so I ordered them ( poss not the right year ) but the triumph machanic at the same dealership couldn't fit them and told me I had no options for adjustable or smaller reach levers on a 2004 Bonnie. Sounds unlikely to me. Has anyone else fitted adjustable levers to a 2004 Bonnie? I'd love your advice I don't want to change the bike over something that should be solvable

Hi Austin, before you spend any more money why don't you have a look at fittings the Daytona levers yourself - it's not a difficult job to do and just might give you what you need. I know a mechanic said it's not possible to fit them but I've been told many times by professional mechanics that things are impossible, only to find that they are !!!!!

You got the Daytona levers so what not try? here are a couple of videos to show you the general idea of how to change the levers:

Ok there is a simple solution to this. The original Bonnies 2000-2005 have no aftermarket manufacturers that make levers to fit, aftermarket levers will only fit the 2006 and onward Bonnies. If you look at this it's because the front side of the clutch perch is different from 06 onwards. I bought the front of the 2006 clutch perch from Triumph (£26 part) and this allowed me to straight fit any aftermarket levers to my 2005 T100.
    Hope that helps.

Not sure, mine has Renthal tapers on. From memory they are 1" but I'd check to be sure.

This is really useful. I will order the front clutch perch from a 2006 Bonneville. I tried fitting he Daytona level myself, no joy. I've got aftermarket Vincent shaped handle bars but Ill check they are 1". I'll let you know how it works

I feel ashamed to bump such a dusty old thread, but the search showed me this and it's exactly the solution I'm looking for.

Except: I can't find the part everyone's talking about. The 2006 front clutch perch. Can anyone help with a link?

    Thanks!

    Oh!

Is it T2046022 ? Or is that what's already on my '03 that I need to change out?
