Security Chains, Does Girth Mean Better?

    Yes I didn't own a bike but when I heard the cops were ramming them again (ramming not rimming) I was happy, there needs to be some sort of consequence.

    I didn't mention any security as I wasn't sure what I'd get, I've since seen paperwork for a datatool product, not sure what product it is but I might just pay the 8quid to have it changed into my name to find out

    The Oxford beast has a 22mm link chain I'm waiting on delivery today as it was discounted to just over £200 at infinity motorcycles website,so it has good reviews though NOT exactly portable

    I use a Pragmasis 19mm chain. Hardened boron steel; when the scrotes attacked it with an angle grinder their battery ran out before they were half way through. That was proof enough for me.

    My daughter has a 13mm Pragmasis chain for her 125. It protected it by making the bike more difficult to steal than the one parked next to it!

    Yes pragmasis kit is solid I've got the medium size Ulock,only cost about £50ish using Bennett's discount handy as can be used with pragmasis 19mm chain,along with the groundhog anchor only issue now us the beast needs a different anchor as chain is too thick DOH!,bought the Ulock instead of the Roundlock both about same price and for the 19mm chain you need an additional part to fit

    I use locks to secure our TIGER-BONNIE family, which on the one hand do not have a round cross-section on the shackle, but a multi-edged one. This means that "cutting through" is only possible with construction site equipment (conspicuous!). In addition, they have an extremely narrow free-standing shackle. This makes it almost impossible to place a tool between the chain links.
