Once the grill is fitted how do you clean dead flies off the headlight lens? Not that there are many flies, or any other insects, around nowadays but just on the off-chance that you encounter a swarm or two.

Good question! Mine seems to stay quite clean but my Muc-Off jet wash probably helps to loosen them off. ;)

The Triumph instructions are insistent on removing something called the “bulb cap”? Did you remove it?

As promised, pictures! I fitted a radiator guard from Omega Racer. When I first spotted this one online, I knew I wanted one! Firstly because I think it looks awesome, secondly because I’m pretty sure it will be quite unique in these parts. I’m pretty sure they aren’t quite allowed to use the logo, but not my problem ;)

Two great minds think alike eh?
In case you haven't spotted it, Motone have 22% off everything this weekend. Just saved myself £80. TEC Parts have 10% off.

It appears they do! Luckily you’re not in these parts :joy:.

I did see the Motone discount, will definitely check it out. I do have some Motone parts on my Christmas list and we have the arrangement you can’t go out and buy stuff from the list yourself at least not until New Years. So I might give a hint about the discount to some people aswell :D

I'm sure they'll appreciate the saving. Are we allowed to know what's on your list?

A gearshifter peg, a sump guard, also some oem parts. I have a pretty good idea where I’m going with some future customizations, just not in what order exactly. Time will tell, some of the more expensive parts might just need two or three payday’s ;). At least that will be my story if the misses asks :D

    Looks the business

Will you be fitting a sump guard and replacing the standard Pirelli Phantom tyres for improved handling? ;)

Tyres are going to go yes. I like the idea of a radiator guard, not sure about sump guard, perhaps...

The (small) part for December is almost here. My postal services had it clear customs (Uk ordered) today, should arrive somewhere next week. This will be an easy fit, nothing fancy. Since I have too much stuff on my Christmas list ;). Man I love this payday project :D.

Lovely tiny package arrived today. Probably fitting it this weekend.

Today I fitted the oil filler cap. Before the Street Twin I never would have guessed that I would be siked to change an oil filler cap.
I already have the next part for January and hopefully a lot of parts under the Christmas tree :D

Wait a minute, why has Santa got to you early? What's so special about Belgium? We have to wait until tomorrow.

There are a few countries in Europe that traditionally open presents on Christmas Eve… in fact, iirc the Queen and her family do (probably due to their Germanic history).
