Interesting that so far 70% of members want out, guessing most of us belong to a quite narrow social group.......40 + male?

My sons are quite pro Europe and EU so their vote will probably cancel me out, if they can be bothered to get out of bed and vote. I'm counting on the apathy of the young ☺

 

Richard you a very probably correct in your thinking. Most of us in the 40+ sector were around for the original vote on the Common Market, which by sheer luck was a good idea. That said the whole concept of what was the Common Market was to create what is now a European super State or aka the EUSSR, and it was to ruled by France (but now its ruled from Berlin) and with no member country having any say in anything it pronounces. This WAS NOT what those who voted to joint the Common Market expected or wanted. The under 40's group don't know anything else therefore they are in favour of staying in the whole stinking corrupt failure known as the EUSSR. The general concept of what is now a total 'cluster f"£k' was total control of Europe by the continuous introduction of diktats, directives and other bovine excrement legislation. By drip feeding all this crap in very slowly, the population would accept it without challenge until they were up to our necks in it with no way of escape or changing the system. Every 'empire' from ancient times has used the exact same principle eg, the Romans, Greeks, Persians, French, Germans Russians, even us Brits.

 

I would be a stay in but there's another issue I feel will be triggered by England voting to take us out

I'm an in. I've not know any different, and for the last 15 years (since I really understood and started to take an interest in the world around me) I have had no reason to rock the boat. I don't believe all the scaremongering from the in crowd....but economies of scale is a compelling argument, especially given the recent global economic climate. I've got no big problem with immigration currently, and am proud to be a British European.

Both sides have a compelling argument and it's gonna be close. I feel neither is right or wrong, will just have to make my vote, and accept my peers decision.......that's gonna be an interesting few months to follow!!!!

 

Over exaggerated scaremongering from both sides - but you're going to get that aren't you? after all they are politicians!
They are more interested in scoring points off each other than providing us with a fair and balanced view. Just remember whether we end up in or out - the same clowns will still be in charge in this country!

What I cant understand is on every tv channel poll the ins are said to be in front, while every-where else, papers, forums, etc the outs are way in front!!

I'm voting out because I believe we pay too much for being part of a failing union & one would hope the money could be spent better elsewhere rather than funding other countries that are struggling more than we are . I would like to believe that it would slow down the mass immigration into this country but I,m not sure it will (no Im not racist but I'm from Boston , a town which I grew up in & I've moved away because the population has gone from 27,000 to 70,000 in the last 15 yrs & after being held up at knife point in broad daylight near my house I figured there are better places to live , plus people are being murdered there every week now & its a dreadful place to live . Unless youre directly affected then youre not likely to understand & I generally find that most dont yet

1. I bought fuel this morning &

2. Prime Minister Valls announced that the 'crisis' was over and the distribution centres will be sending out fuel today.

And all this whilst remaining part of the European Union

One fact to bear in mind when we all whine about the "faceless Bureaucrats" of the European Commission.
They actually employ 33,000 people to manage the affairs of ALL the member states.
Our own civil service employs around 405,000.
