One of the big differences between my previous bike vstrom and the tiger was the wind noise above 60kmh On the vstrom I had the hideous looking givi airflow, but it works very well when adjusted at the proper height. On the Tiger I get a lot wind noise, I can not hear the engine above 80kmh, and it is difficult to hear the communicator above 100kmh Watched a number of videos on youtube about givi / puig and no one seem really convinced. I read a recommendation about Calsci.com here on an older thread, at almost $200 dollars is not cheap but I ordered it. I have only done one short ride but did manage to get to 100kmh, and I can say I'm quite happy with the results, no wind noise, no buffeting, I can hear the engine, and I'm pretty sure I'll be able to hear the communicator. I was a bit worried the screen would look ugly but it certainly is nothing close to how the givi airflow looked, you be the judge of this. Here are some images
one more comment I did not order the Givi or Puig because they seem too tall for me Calsci has the option to select 3 sizes, I got the medium one
Interesting Armando How tall are you please ? I’m 1,85m and hesitating between Puig Tourer (+ 8cm) and Givi d6415 st (+12,5cm) I like the design of the Puig less the one of the givi
Ludo, I'm 1.70m tall At the lowest setting I can see a good 10cm over the top of the screen there are multiple options for taller/shorter screens from calsci https://motorcycleinfo.calsci.com/Tiger9prod.html They have very nice instructions about how to choose the height of the screen https://motorcycleinfo.calsci.com/Windshields.html
thanks for all the info ypurbprovided me with could you share more photos please caise not sure I like the look of the clasci (very personal feeling)
That’s interesting. I had a Tiger 800 with a Madstad screen, which was great. Unfortunately they don’t yet do one for the 900, though if anyone with a Tiger 900 lives in Central Florida they would be delighted to design one for free as their prototype.
Thank you Armando for the addtional photos. Much appreciated Personally I find it a bit to wide at the top which is certainly the key for the good protection
I finally ordered the Givi right now. Will keep you posted of my user experience Thx for the conversation Armando

well it didn't last very long found this as I was cleaning the bike IMO the mounting is not well designed as the screen is at angle over the mounting points, the bar to adjust the height pushed the screen and it cracked
Thanks. I had not seen their windshields. I ordered the Medium for winter. I am ok with the stock when it is warm.
I added a piece of rubber between the screen and the mounting points Also I did talk to them they asked me to drill a small hole at the end of each crack if this does not stop the cracks then call them again
I will use protective washers. I have plastic washers on my victory windshield and they seem to work great.
sigh ... Another set of cracks developed now on one of the lower mounting points, I have to call calsci on Monday While I really like the protection, the mounting is not adequate and eventually, the screen will fail completely The screen meets the mounting points at an angle due to it being curved and the mounting points being on a flat plane perpendicular to the direction of travel @Ludo have you installed the givi screen ?
I tried the givi but I’m not fully statisfied to be honest It’s sure that it protects very well but I have to set it at the before last level to be protected enough. In this position I have the top of the shield in my sight so it is a bit anoying to me. Especially during night ride It seemes to be normal but as I’m a new rider I don’t use to drive with the helmet screen and the windshield. To it’s reducing the vision sonit could be a bit danregous. Îve purchase a second hand puig tourer and will try it next week end Hope it helps Cheers
