Ok today i checked the spark on each plug and all seemed to be firing . I started the engine and it ran very rough , turned up the tickover to 2000 rpm and pulled off the right plug cap ... engine stalled . I did the same again with middle plug and left plug and it made no difference so at the moment I have a single cylinder Tiger . Lol Rain stopped play this afternoon unfortunately .
Hi Laurie, The tax disk may not mean anything as we’ve been diskless for years. The previous owners just didn’t bother removing the disk holder. Best check on the gov.uk websites for tax status and if SORN, and it’s MoT status (and history). If not SORN you need to get it a MoT and insurance quickly as even in a non road going state you are legally required to insure it unless it is SORN. I think…
I did try to sorn it online but you have to wait until the new V5 arrives which they say could take up to 6 weeks .I haven't checked the MOT status yet but I will have a look this evening ....

Thanks mate , the bike is in bits at the moment so its not looking very pretty at all but I will put some pictures up eventually lol
I just checked the MOT status of my tiger and the MOT expired in Febuary 2014 so it hasn't been used for 7 years now ... I think the next job will have to be a compression test as it could have some stuck valves after all that time and that could be the cause of its troubles .
