Hi all, I am brand new to biking, currently riding everywhere I can on a CBT on my mighty 2009 Yamaha YBR 125 AKA The Silver Bullet to gain experience whilst waiting to do my DAS course and Mods 1 and 2 in October. I do happen to have a beautiful Street Triple R waiting for me in the garage at home (huge motivation to get out there and get as much practice in as I can!!!) and am married to Helmut Visor who is patiently riding at my speed with me when we go out together and providing much useful advice. I am also going out alone plenty, including a 72 mile round trip commute to work and back a couple of times per week - the days where my appearance can be a little more "relaxed" than others!! Looking forward to joining the biking community proper in (hopefully) a few months' time.

Welcome to the forum, @Mrs Visor! It's always great to have another woman member join the community. It sounds like you are putting in lots of practice and I'm sure it's helpful that your hubby, @Helmut Visor, is doing some of your rides with you. I found it helpful and encouraging when my husband rode with me when I first started riding. Good luck with your tests! Yes, a lovely Street Triple R waiting would be a great motivator.
