As some of you know I am a bit of an air rifle tart and have three rifles and a couple of pistols, and recently I sold one of my guns as I was bored with it and out of coincidence I found a rifle that I wanted up for sale at a good price so couldn't resist.

It's an Air Arms FTP900 designed for FT competition, but I will just use it mainly for bench rest anyway as I am sure there are at least a couple of shooting enthusiasts here is a couple of pics.

Looks a nice tool Dicky. Prob a bit OTT for me to knob off the pigeons and squirrels on the back yard, but I don't doubt you'll put it to good use. Enjoy :)

I gave my guns up recently due to lack of use, these were game and vermin orientated though. Couple of nice shotguns, an AYA no.2 side by side, side locks and double trigger. A Belgian made Browning B2 over and under and a wee CZ .177hmr rifle with a Schmitt and Bender scope, brilliantly accurate to 150 yards plus. 2 inch groups at 150 yards easy enough but not enough clout to humanely kill a fox.

Same here Andy. Lapsed my certificate so my mate has three shotguns of mine. I really need to get my papers again because I don't think he's looking after them too well. Nice Beretta O/U, and my dad's old English made hammer gun need a bit more love. The old Spanish no name boxlock I'm not so fussed over. :)

    I have a Feinwerkbau 800 w that I use for target shooting. I also have a B.S.A. lightning with a telescopic sight.
I really miss shooting proper guns , course I was sponsored by the Crown then . Had a lot of fun at a firing range in Budapest. Ak 47's glock pistols, Armalites and many more . Amazing , rock up pay 75€ and away you go .

That's a fine looking rifle there TD, I love a bit of precision engineering. I think I've mentioned on here before that I've just revitalised my old Weihrauch HW35E with a new spring a kit (old spring broken) and it's working overtime lately on the rat population at the bottom of our garden. I had a FAC back in the 80's and had a lovely .303 Lee Enfield No. 4 which I used to shoot with iron sights at a MOD range local to us, a scoped Parker Hale M81 Classic in 300 Win Mag, a .44 Mag Smith and Wesson Model 29 with 6" barrel ( my first firearm) and a Browning Vigilante which was basically a tarted up 9mm High Power SA pistol with fancy grips etc. Gov surplus .303 ammo was still plentiful and relatively cheap back then, as was 9mm para for the Browning. 300 Win Mag factory ammo (Norma) was just over £1 a shot which got me into reloading pretty quickly to keep the cost down! .44 special for the S&W was also quite pricey so I bought the dies to reload those too. All this was for target shooting on ranges. Gave it all up in the early 90's, sold the guns to a local gun dealer and handed in my ticket.

Very nice @Tricky-Dicky, not seen a stock styled like that. Is it composite or layered wood?

Pffft, I’ve got a Relum underlever .22 with a bent foresight and a knackered seal, to be honest I could throw the pellet further. :joy:

That's a very nice looking bit of kit.
I've an old Daystate Huntsman PCP, Air Arms TX SR underlever, both .177, mostly for Field Target/messing round, and an Air Arms S200 in .22 with a night sight for ratting.

Thanks! Yes it's a coloured birch laminate quite popular on a lot of guns these days, the stock is aimed at the FT/HFT crowd and is multi adjustable, the laminates mostly come from this company in Finland I have ordered blanks and made stocks myself.

Back in the 70’s I used to do a lot of Air Rifle target shooting. In fact for a couple of years I was the County Team Captain. This is the last air rifle I owned.

well I also had one of these as well, a Baretta 1301 10 shot semi auto, but to be honest the .308 above was a lot louder.
