Sent away to England to get the oxygen sensor delete kit that consists of sensor block-off plugs with resisters that plug into the wiring harness and the Motone stainless steel X-pipe that replaces the 15 ton catalytic converter for my 2017 Thruxton. Due to the current spate of crap weather in the Midwest state of Iowa, it may be a few days before I can try these changes out. I do know that it is idling smother so far, and the exhaust note sounds much better. More to follow.

See if you can get it on a dyno, it would be great to see if the mods release any more horses or torque’s

As much as I'd like to dyno it, I'm not able to do that as I live in a small town in the Midwest, and don't know of anyone in the area that might have a dyno. I will say that I've been out on the bike several times so far. It now has a much throatier exhaust note, and really seems to have more pull even at speed. I will say that the Motone X-pipe is of superior quality and construction, I deal with aircraft jet engines, and the stainless steel material and TIG welding is good enough to use for hot bleed air ducting. It lined right up and bolted right in. I am glad to be rid of the oxygen sensors. Now the bike seems to have much better pull from stop, and while underway it pulls like a freight train when the throttle is added. Overall I am very pleased with the addition of these items. And because I live in the USA, and the parts are being shipped out of the UK, no VAT on the parts, and no tariff from the USA!

A Power Commander and Dyno developed map makes yields a big improvement on these bikes. Only a few bhp but that's not the headline, the increase in torque below 3.5k and the improved throttle response is an eye opener. Look at this plot and not the area between the green arrows. Big improvement exactly where you benefit from it everytime you ride the bike.

Well if the welding is good enough for EBAS it’s good enough for me (I deal with gas turbine engines as well, the best ones RR :) ), double whammy there on the tariff & VAT, looks as though the dyno chart bears out your “seat of the pants” dyno.
