Well leave his leg alone Peter, lol - I'm sure you haven't upset him, Why - cos he's so very brave coming on here or any forum for the very first time and using a selfie to post as his very first picture !!! I think we should all be that fearless
Well I'm a photographer so in anybody's defence, if there is someone used to photos it oughta be me... I don't really like selfies, but hey, if I introduce myself, I might as well show my frenchie face...
Hello and welcome to the forum, I'm fairly new here too (been riding bike for years though) I'm not far away from you I'm in Kilsyth. I'm a bit busy with prepping up a trip away but once I'm back I was going to organise a Sunday Bimble starting from the petrol station on Great Western Road. You'd be more than welcome to come along. Your bike is lovely btw
I'll be up for that ! I don't know the roads or sweet spots that much, as, well this is my very first vehicle ever.
Hi Scott Nice bike and I am pleased you have now achieved your dream. Summer will be so much better for it as well.
Only time I had a problem with theft in Glasgow was when I lived in Castlemilk ( a well known part of Glasgow). My chain defeated the scrote but he did manage to break the headlight and cut him/her self
Ditto to Littleade's reply You definately need chains and good locks, don't rely on a silly easily snapped steering lock
Don't you worry too much about that... I'm a bit bit paranoid regarding security, and I don't have the luck of disposing of a garage. So I have a sold secure silver chain through my rear wheel attached to a fence or a pole at all idle times, and another sold secure silver disc lock, and a third big ass chain through my front wheel tying my rain cover for the night or when I'm not taking her to work. Though there is another biker literally 30 meters away from where I live and he told me he never had a single issue in this neighbourhood in 4 years.
Hey Sam As a fellow Glasgow based newbie and black and red t100 owner give me a shout if you have any rides planned of a weekend. Can ride around like specky hipsters together
In true Del Trottor fools and horses style "Au revior Samual, welcome to the forum.or as the French would say la Triumph of la resistants, Enjoy .. Oh, and how do you understand the accent of the Glaswegians.?' yi no wi I men .
My name is Samuel not Samual , and... I have litterally no idea what you just said.... But as far as the Weegie accent goes, aye, I do understand just fine pal... it's naebother.
