Managed to get hold of a Street Cup 2019 over here, in mint condition and with after market exhausts which just sounds wow! In the processed of adding some custom bits and changing it all to black.
Bobby Saigon Great steed indeed. Welcome to the family. And thanks for sharing the picture with your great intro. You will fit right in here in the asylum. Joe.
Welcome Bobby! I am a newbie too and also have a Street Cup with some minor mods. If/when I respray mine, I would go for the matte or satin black look that triumph have used for the Ace Cafe version of the T120. All the best and enjoy the forum.
There is lots of other feedback on here related to the stock Pirelli Phantoms regarding handling issues with the Street Cup using these tyres. I talk from experience when I say that these tyres never gave me confidence in corners or on wet roads but since changing to Avon Roadriders the bike has been transformed. It’s all personal preference and riding style I guess.
I've got the Pirellis on my 2017 T100 and am far some sold on them. The grip seems like it could be better on cornering and occasionally I get a little tiny sideways hiccup depending on pavement which catches me completely off guard. Agree there must be better options out there but I wanted to hear a little more detail so thanks for chiming in!
Greetings, Bobby, and welcome to the forum. Congrats on that Street Cup and thanks for sharing the photo. It's looking good! Hope you enjoy the forum.
On the tyres, not a fan. Not confident on corners with the weight of the bike and tramlines often. They are still in good condition so will keep running but definitely open to other suggestions for good dry/wet grip. (although with vietnam rain season i will not ride it as much) Update pictures as I customise it further. Prices in GBP 1) Gloss black decal and stickers - 62 2) powder and ceramic coated the exhaust system black plus anodised footpegs and some brackets gloss black - 112 3) Seat Cover changed to ribbed look - 25 4) Having NRC rear fender kit bought and fitted although i think its pricier here to have the kit imported- 219 Just want to do something about the headlamp and the (not bright enough) ugly yellow light but without changing the whole unit. Has anyone got recommended LED White bulbs that will work without error?
Anyone can help with this. Trying to change the LED bulb but does not seem to want to disconnect from the black housing.
